I always liked control, but I never really managed to get it right. No matter what I did, I alwayd found myself being overrun by creatures. When I saw Beguiler of Wills, the solution was obvious.

Beguiler of Wills allows me to take control of certain creatures the enemy controls. The benefit is clear; I can punish them for playing smaller creatures as it gives me a pathway to gaining their larger ones. When used in conjunction with Perplexing Chimera I can take control of near every spell they play.

Freed from the Real is fantastic when used on the Beguiler, and I have used the combination to devastating effects, often being able to take control of the enemies entire field in a single turn.

Cryptoplasm is a versitile card that works well here - the low cost gives me a platform to recreate another Beguiler or Chimera; a cheap flying blocker if I need on; a Silver Myr if I need extra mana; and I can copy one of the enemies creatures if need be.
