Ascendant Evincar is a little redundant in here with all your mono red vampires because he -1/-1's them also.

You are correct sir. Switched it out for Door of Destinies

If you're on a budget, Crypt Ghast would be a great addition. Also Beacon of Unrest to have a multiple use and versatile graveyard recursion.

Both would fit right in. A lot of the cards in this deck are from a pre-existing deck my Nephew-in-law made (he got all the expensive demons and such). I think I like that Beacon better than the Door of Destinies I just put in. Gonna give back a few cards and use both these I think.

I was playtesting this with my Prime Speaker Zegana deck, and it seemed like your deck doesn't have any way to deal with something like Food Chain + Misthollow Griffin to draw the deck with Prime Speaker. I'm not sure what to say about enchantment destruction in Rakdos, but maybe you could try Spine of Ish Sah ?

Here's my deck if you'd like to look at it:

Thinking about a Pithing Needle for stuff like that, but yeah....this deck doesn't have a lot of anti-enchantment. That Food Chain is an amazing spell.

Might reference this in the future if i decide to do a vampire build. have you considered Dark Impostor as another bomb vampire? Some of my decks also have trouble with enchantments and artifacts i normally use Unstable Obelisk. its not much but its something at least especially in black red.

I had the Dark Impostor but i also had about a zillion other vampires that all cost 6+ and i had to cut something. The Impostor works in any deck with the right colors without needing any tribal assistance so i cut it for use elsewhere.

I think you should of cut Tyrant's Familiar before Dark Impostor, the dragon kills for free but doesn't exile, and only does 7 damage. Think about all the indestructible and/or 8+ thoughness threats in EDH. Another thing to consider is you could be facing a card that prevents you from attacking or the opponent has a blocker that can kill the dragon, while the vampire will still let you blow shit up, while providing tribal support AND being more political, allowing you to only get rid of universally dangerous creatures, without making you the new target.

I think I'm moving Tyrant's Familiar to my Scion of th Ur Dragon deck. At the time I took out the Dark Impostor the lieutenant creatures weren't in game yet. You're right. It should go back in

I've never seen you play this deck, looks like a lot of fun.

@Bafanuga This boss is pretty much an in-your-face FU. Steals everything. Not even fun if somebody pulls out a Edgar Markov deck. I keep it on a shelf with Animar. I'll bring it next Thursday.
