I haven't been able to test this deck in a while, but I have continued to make (questionable) updates as new sets come out.

The latest round of updates includes, predictably, Dockside Extortionist. It makes the Shifting Shadow roulette a bit less predictable, but is always useful and can help trigger metalcraft on Molten Psyche. The other obvious update is Thrill of Possibility, another (better) Tormenting Voice effect.

I'm also going to give Dual Casting a try. It might be better just to play Reverberate, but having Hazoret as an indestructible target for the enchantment makes it a little more reliable. If you can keep it on board, it's potentially cheaper than most other copy effects, not to mention reusable. Even if you only use it the turn you cast it, it's only slightly worse than Doublecast.

The removals are more dubious. Caged Sun comes out as part of my ongoing efforts to reduce the average CMC of the deck and part of my shift to experimenting with "one-shot" ramp effects. Mind Stone is fine but Dockside Extortionist is better and I'm not sure how much low-impact, early game ramp I actually need. I decided Insult / Injury is probably less useful than playing another copy effect, which usually has the same outcome in terms of (spell) damage while also working with Tormenting Voice type spells. Emergence Zone is probably too expensive on top of the burn/copy spells I want to use it with.

My reasons for removing Gauntlet of Might are more practical, and relate to the paper cost of the card. If you can afford it, are comfortable carrying it about and your playgroup doesn't have budget restrictions, it is definitely deserving of a slot. It will be interesting to see how badly the deck is affected by its removal. I have tentatively replaced it with the substantially worse but potentially more fun Irencrag Feat, which I can see doing great things with copy effects (otherwise I'll probably put Caged Sun back in).

This round of updates has definitely weakened the deck's ability to ramp in favour of copy and draw effects, and may require some refinement once I actually get to test the changes.
