This is a casual deck with no $$ restrictions because I only play at home with buddies, and they let me use proxies. I only start playing a few months ago, and the cards that I do buy, I get online since that's where I'm most likely to play other than with my roommates.
I'm looking for suggestions on how to improve it. I'm still going to go through and make adjustments, I threw this together really quickly with just 4 of everything I thought would be useful, but I'd like to see what others think as well.
Some cards I've thought about adding are;
Buried Alive, it would help me get the Demigods of Revenge into my graveyard and allow me to potentially play all 4 (with haste) at once. Other targets could be Bloodghast (one land drop would bring them all back) and Gravecrawler.
Entomb. for the same reasons.
Liliana of the Veil, because she's cheap, adds to my devotion, and the drawback to her +1 could play to my advantage if I have any of the cards I can play from my graveyard in my hand.
Reanimate, would allow me to discard any of my creatures with Liliana and not waste them. Plus with the life gain from Gary the drawback of Reanimate won't hurt too much. Also it would allow me to bring back Obliterator if he were lost to any removal that sent him to the graveyard, which would definitely frustrate people.
Just in case the game plan isn't obvious, the idea is to get out a bunch of black mana symbols and drop Gary. Dark Ritual and Culling the Weak accelerate how early I can get Phyrexian Obliterator and Demigod of Revenge out, which in turn accelerates my mana when I have a Nykthos on the board.
