Secure the Wastes could be a good option to put in. I know that it's "Warriors" instead of "Soldiers", but getting X tokens for instant speed can be a good swarm tactic.

Hi,
How is Champion of the Parish doing for you? Since Captain of the Watch doesn't bring in Humans he just doesn't seem that good? I run Soldier of the Pantheon and Aegis of the Gods as cheap soldiers instead.
While playtesting I found Odric, Master Tactician is the main win condition of this deck. Especially if you can get him out with Preeminent Captain and you're opponent is tapped out. Do you feel taking 1 is enough?
