+1/+1 (BUDGET)

Legacy

Giovaneveterano

STRATEGYThe deck focuses on build up +1/+1 counters on creatures to get stronger, activate abilities and be devastating. +1/+1 counters have the benefit to stay on the creature even when the Enchantment that puts them on has been destroyed.

CREATURES Favored Hoplite and Lagonna-Band Trailblazer: two solid drop-1 to take advantage in the early stages of the match. A good alternative can be Herald of Anafenza, but it's rare and its Outlast cost (2W) forces the player to take a break for one turn.

Hero of Iroas: speeds up the game massively by playing the two powerful Auras paying just 1.

Phalax Leader: a true game changer. Couples it with Gleam of Authority and every creature get +1/+1, then he gets +1/+1 for every creature you control. It becames a true destroyer.

Ainok Bond-Kin, Abzan Falconer and Abzan Battle Priest: they close the loop activating abilities on your creatures. First Strike, Flying and Lifelink are all you need to be invincible.

SPELLS Gleam of Authority: works beautifully in this deck!

Ordeal of Heliod: besides putting +1/+1 counters on a creature every time it attacks, it gives you 10 (TEN!) life points when the creature has 3 or more counters on it. Crazy stuff.

Inspiring Roar: a drop-4 to be played in a advanced phase of the match, when you dropped all your creatures to add more +1/+1 counters on the battlefield.

Holy Day and Brave the Elements: help to keep your creatures safe and unblockable. They saves the butt many times.
