I have a pretty good Mairsil, the Pretender deck, Should I Pretend This Or That?, but I'd like to make it jankier instead of more powerful.
I want to find more cards like Chaos Wand . That is either artifacts or creatures with weird activated abilities. The stranger the better.

Well Mindslaver is a good one, but it practically costs an arm and a leg, also if I understand the ability correctly then he would get sacrificed from the ability so maybe not so good. Tower of Fortunes is cheap to buy and is a decent mana sink if you have no plays and need to draw 4 cards to refill your hand. Steel Hellkite would pretty much give him that removal ability on board pretty early in the game. Then you can put in Nevinyrral's Disk to have a board wipe ready and dodge around the enter in tapped part of the artifact.

If you're looking for some more weird wands than maybe Chimeric Staff could be a fun one to turn it into a sudden giant beat stick. Druidic Satchel is decent if you don't mind giving your opponents some knowledge of what you will draw into while potentially getting some additional land drops. Trading Post can turn him into a kind of value engine with a plethora of abilities revolving around artifacts.

Also maybe getting some flicker cards in there to trigger his ability again might be good like Ghostly Flicker and Displace this way you can get his trigger off repeatedly without casting him again.
