Help building a GW commander deck for under $50?

Hello, I haven't played Magic in probably close to 6 years and want to play casually with my wife and another couple and I didn't like any of the "pre-built" sets at the store and want to build my own but I've never played commander before. I was having a hard time finding any White/Green that aren't like $500+ is there anyway to build something decent for $50?

Thanks for the suggestion, although I was hoping for possibly a full deck recommendation. I haven't played in so long so I'm not sure what to partner those cards with. Is there anyway I could find a 100 card deck someone else has put together and edit a few cards here and there to make it my own? I'm just trying to find something under $50 and don't want to buy a pre-built deck.

Most Siona decks look pretty similar for the most part. Something like this one is a fairly good example of a budget version.

Any cards that are outside your budget can be easily swapped for something else. EDHREC.com had tons of useful info for deck ideas

Thank you, for the help. I was having a hard time finding anything in that price range but that should fit my needs.

One important thing regarding Siona: The deck has a combo kill with Shielded by Faith that you should be aware of. Depeding on how experienced the other players are, combo kills may appear unfair and unfun.

I know it's not a full deck recommendation, but I'd look at an aggro Karametra, God of Harvests . She can be built with pretty much any selection of creatures, themed or otherwise, and every creature spell cast becomes a ramp spell. As a god, she's rather difficult to remove, and G/W offer a nice variety of support spells from indestructible to lifelink to trample and more, as well as some draw. Plus she can easily be upgraded with better creatures and support over time. Hope this helps.

I would just look at the available GW commanders out there and find one that jives with. Just about anything can be built on a budget, and green-based decks are especially easy given green's ability to ramp and mana fix.
Are there any you're particularly interested in? Any strategies that you really like?

Siona, Captain of the Pyleas is a great budget commander. Key cards like All That Glitters , Sram, Senior Edificer and Ajani's Chosen are all pretty cheap. Its pretty easy to play and could be easily upgraded down the road. I had one for a bit and used it to show my sister how to play for the first time.
