Deck here - Adeliz leads some angry Wizards.
I've recently gotten back into Magic after a decade long break, and my local gamestore only does Commander/EDH now. After a bit of playing around with different Izzet Commanders I eventually settled on a Wizard Tribal built around Adeliz and her ability.
Its far from perfect, and while I do have an overall idea on how I want this deck to work, I haven't actually managed to do much in the games I have played, so I'm looking for suggestions on how I could improve it - speed it up, make it more consistent, trim dead weight, etc so I can have a bit more of an involvement in games beyond just being there to make up a 4 person table.
Sultai_Sir Thanks for the suggestions. Current iteration is based off previous feedback, bit less creatures, more instants/sorceries. Probably plays a lot better than my original design. Updated it today after ordering the next batch of cards now that the holidays are over.
I do have a Young Pyromancer in my collection, so I'll consider throwing him in. I'll also give Kaza and Naru a try, managed to find a copy of Naru available locally. My local stores seem to have gotten new stock in with the new year.
I originally added Into the Maw of Hell for creature removal, the land destruction was just a bonus. Wasn't able to find Reality Shift locally (wishlisted it on a bunch of sites though) but I have ordered Pillage and a Pongify, so those will replace it. I do own a Stone Rain, but I might look to see if there is another CMC3 Destroy Artifact/Land before throwing it in, want to try and get versatility where possible.
Can't seem to find a Counterspell for a semi reasonable price locally (its added to the growing 'buy from overseas' list), so I'm mainly running CMC3 counters. I originally added Devious Coverup for the graveyard reclaim, but I might replace it with another CMC3 counter. I'll need to play a few more games to get a feel on how quick matches go and how much/frequent graveyard hate is, but you might be right with CMC4 being a bit too much for a counterspell.

Hey man, love the deck! It looks quick, powerful, and ridiculously budget. Here are some card suggestions for it, and I'll try to keep the cards under a couple of bucks:
Cards to Add
Cards to Cut
Well, hope this helps, and as always, Happy Tapping!
