The name is an inside joke that stuck. To put it simply, back when this deck was first made it was a tribal werm deck. And when I was at my local card shop picking out a deck box for it I ended up getting a Jace box, and thus dubbing the deck 'Jace: Master Of Werms'. Since then the deck has been revised many times to its current state it is in now, however the name has stayed the same.
