Oh it's good to give some love to this project! Coming back with fresh eyes has given me a bunch of new ideas for how to really squeeze some more power out of this list. Check out the super-updated primer for all the fun explanations for anything you're curious about, or leave a comment if you're a sweetheart!

Gleeock I'm grateful for your support! Love to hear how others approach Atla.
In this build, I'm pretty content to lose to infinite hasty 1/1's. If they are too slow, after all, they'll be lost to the winds... and I can respect losing occasionally to the sort with the sort of alacrity that doesn't wait for my turn.
I don't like 1-off sac outlets in general; our engine is pretty reliant on being able to toss multiple eggs over several turns, and 3 mana is a lot for an egg-scrambler anyway. At that CMC, I'd rather be playing Ashnod's Altar ;)
The whole bit about surprise Atla triggers is an interesting one, but I think I'd rather have the surprise come from what I cheat into play, not when.
Thanks for commenting! Again, it means a lot. I'll be sure to take a look at your build, sounds different enough from mine that I'm sure I'll get some inspiration!

Well, I ran out of time to add the custom categories. I also have a ton of 2-drop ramp, I like redirects so there are some of those. Then a bunch of direct damage creatures, & more control than I typically play in other decks. A few of my sac outlets: Martyr's Cause are worth looking at. Here -->Atla with Tobasco Sauce

Creative Technique has overperformed for me every time I play it. It is a nice contingency plan in the event of Atla-hate as well.

Gleeock feels a bit bad to hit an Arcane Signet though, no? Especially if your opponent gets a threat off Demonstrate? For a similar amount of mana I could run Selvala's Stampede and get far more value... but I should probably come up with some more alternative lines should Atla get removed a bunch, so thanks for bringing that to my attention!

Yeah, while I was posting that I was thinking of how I need to add Selvala's Stampede back into my deck, I don't really know why I ever took it out (maybe because I added a buttload of mass removal instead?) not really sure. It is one of the best cards around to keep in-hand for inevitable Cyclonic Rifts. My other rift insurance is usually just having Ruric Thar, the Unbowed & dmg multipliers on-field, with which I've hilariously killed players before it resolves.
As far as Creative Technique goes, it is nice that it doesn't depend on hand-size, although I often have a fatty or 2 stuck in-hand that I don't really want to hardcast. Since Creative Technique gives me 2 shots & I get to choose my opponent, I usually just choose an opponent with a strategy-set that has a very low likelihood of resulting in high-end threats (I can always find a value-engine or aristrocrats deck to pick on :) ), while I know this deck has BIG ones, so I've yet to actually witness the scenario where I only see a couple of 2-ramps & my opponent sees a Tergrid, God of Fright Flip

Oh my god, my friend has this deck and he would beat the **** out of me with it EVERY TIME!
I don't remember much about his deck but I do know that he included most of the Eldrazi Titans, as well as Jeweled Lotus.
Also, I can't imagine how long it took to describe EVERY SINGLE CARD IN THE ENTIRE DECK.

I, personally, think that Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus is a good addition because it makes a horrible situation for your opponents even worse. Another good addition might be Invasion of Ikoria because of the way that Zilortha can just let you deal combat damage instead of the boring process of blocking. I love Atla eggs so much because you can do so many fun things to your opponents with these things for almost free.

I love that you felt the need to realize a good omelette needs variety :) otherwise you are just eating monoculture hard-boiled every time. I too love my Atla deck, just pure Atla dmg, dmg doublers, & big red stuff that would never stick in another deck :) There is something about RURIC THAR!!!! with damage doublers or Fiery Emancipation. Anyway, I like this too! What I've surprised alot of people with in the past was Volcanic Fallout hard to say how many infinite 1/1's I've stopped or used that spell at instant speed when my opponents thought I had no way of actually cooking my eggs (no apparent sac-outlet)
