Chalice is In! —Feb. 29, 2016

Leyline of Sanctity moved to sideboard, Chalice of the Void moved to mainboard. The main reason I was hesitating on putting it in was because I thought Heartless Summoning also reduced cmc, but after reading a few rules articles, thats not the case. So the only cards it can counter is Altar of the Brood, which yes, is the main win con of this deck, is not the only one. Chalice is great because it counters many annoying graveyard hate artifacts and spells like:

So overall, very useful.

Though I don't like Inquisition of Kozilek just because it costs too much ($wise) for something that isn't essential to this deck.

I'm thinking of Leyline of Sanctity. Any thoughts?

Leyline is nice because it is good in many matchups. Not being able to hardcast it is always rough, but it completely shuts down quite a few decks. It's your call.

The only alternatives I can think of are speed and counterspells, especially Steel Sabotage. Artifact hate is important in the sideboard on its own, but in your case it also hits Tormod's Crypt and Relic of Progenitus, both very commonly run graveyard hate.

Duress could be a budget sideboard card. Just sayin.

Heartless haruspex

Check this out, it's very similar to your deck, thought you might get some different ideas from it.

Sorry still new with the linking thing, came up with the wrong deck. The name of the deck is heartless Haruspex and it is in my deck folder if you want to check it out.
