Rogues! Quick, light on their feet, vulnerable but lethal in the right circumstances. That's what this deck aims to be.
It's light on the mana costs, and has a number of creative ways to assassinate enemy targets, either by bypassing defenses with
Harbor Bandit
, Invisible Stalker, or
Vampire Cutthroat
, or just outright slaying enemy forces with Deathtouch, granted by
Coat with Venom
. Deadly Allure, or
Touch of Moonglove
.
A major weakness is flying, and so it relies on
Flight
and
Vault Skyward
to counteract this problem. The equips simply act as rogue themed buffs for the rogues in play.
Note that nothing costs more than 3 CMC to play, which is a plus, because it means you can do multiple things on one turn very easily, making you nimble and adaptable, but the obvious cost of that is a lack of heavy hitters or high toughness. If struck, rogues are likely to be killed, and a burn deck is likely a hard counter to this setup.
Still working on the side-board a bit; at the moment there's some redundant cards to shift the balance of what you have in the deck if you think one method of achieving victory is more important than the other, but it's still very much a WIP.
