Only three rounds tonight..

Vs. U/B Ninjas: 0-2

This guy really caught me off guard.. He used Ornithopter to deliver #&@% Ninjas! The first match he used Ninja of the Deep Hours to peck at me & draw cards. He was able to hold off my Phyrexian Crusader (w/ Intimidate*) with his orinthopters of all things! He countered some things, and eventually beat me down with a pair of Sword of War and Peaces.. The next match I never drew a Swiftfoot Boots, so he got to use his Mistblade Shinobis to keep bouncing my Blighted Agent back into my hand, leaving him free to slowly beat me to death..

Vs Mono-Blue Illusions: 2-0

This one went very differently.. Before both of us were paired up he made the mistake of admitting to me that he wasn't running any kind of creature removal... So... Naturally I capitalized on this by bum-rushing him with a pumped-up Blighted Agent both times for swift victory.. But don't get me wrong; he had pretty decent deck.. The second game he tried to race me, and it almost worked.. He got me down to 5 life, I had him at 5 counters.. I swung for game, he attempted to AEtherize my agent, but I met it with a Mana Leak thus sealing the deal.. Which apparently made the guy mad enough to just totally quit the tournament and leave all together!.. Sore loser... Oh well.. :P

Vs Grixis Cruel Control: 2-1

REMATCH!!! This was the only guy to beat me last week, and then there he was; standing between me and my booster packs!! lol Anyway, the first game he couldn't get any of the right color mana allowing me easy victory.. I then sided in most of my sideboard, but it didn't help much.. The second game he successfully kept me locked down the entire game.. The third game was all luck of the draw as well; he had to mulligan to 4or5, and I was on the play.. He tried to maintain, but I kept a Negate handy, and was able to cautiously crawl my my way to a rather satisfying victory against a control deck.. :)
