Syr Konrad is Absolutely Nuts —March 1, 2020

After upgrading the deck with a few higher budget cards - chief among those Kroxa, Titan of Death's Hunger, Ox of Agonas, and Underworld Breach - as well as putting in a few budget cards that were released after the deck was made (Syr Konrad, the Grim, Gravebreaker Lamia, and Glint-Horn Buccaneer), the deck runs a lot smoother. One of the main problems with the first draft was that it was too durdly, and had trouble really closing out games. Some of the cards mentioned above have really helped with that, while sticking with the slow, war of attrition gameplay style. Highly recommend this deck as a fun alternative to common control decks seen in EDH, it's really fun and really unique.

This deck looks sweet! Have you play tested it? If so, how'd it run?

Leodragon67890 It runs pretty well! It's definitely a slow, durdly value deck (just how I like them). I just bought it so we'll so how it plays against actual people, but playtesting it on tappedout, it's pretty sweet.

bradtheimpaler13 Yeah, Bone Miser awesome but it's a tad too expensive for the budget. Buried Alive , on the other hand, is perfect. Can't believe I missed that one.

Leodragon67890 Just got it today and played a game with a few other people - it's pretty awesome! Won a game by board-wiping with Last One Standing and then using Command the Dreadhorde to take everything and swing over the next few turns. Second game was a little rougher, everyone kept wiping the board and commander tax got way too high on Chainer, Nightmare Adept but I needed him so I kept casting him. Deck definitely gets weaker the more he's removed, but he's not a huge threat on his own so I feel like most people overlook him. Deck could probably use a bit of protection for him, though.
