Old School White Deck

Vintage Mono-White

gabrielangelfire

So the object here is primarily nostalgia--I'm trying to make a deck that could have existed back when my ailing buddy and I played as kids, so I can surprise him with it at his approaching milestone birthday. Our Magic-playing heyday included each of the basic sets up through "Revised Edition," and the expansions "Arabian Nights," "Antiquities," "Legends," and "The Dark" (after which we, perhaps foolishly, stopped collecting). Ideally, I'd make something playable for each color (mono-color decks all), that would be competitive against one another, and that wouldn't get absolutely pasted against the 'roided up cards of today. Having just discovered my collection in my attic, I could put together a "hard copy" version of whatever deck I design pretty easily (and I could supplement it with online card orders if need be)--but since I know no one that plays, I'm going to try putting it together here. Any feedback would be much appreciated, as my memories of the game are dim! Assume every card from these sets is available to me, with the exception of the super-expensive (Moxes and the like), which I sold off in the late nineties before I went to college. Alas.
