Disclaimer: This is a beginner's deck list based upon the cards I have at my disposal. I know it's not a strong Modern deck, and it's missing some big-money cards, but this is an intro deck for a brand new player and I didn't want to spend extra money on it or over-complicate it.

Threw together a super simple mono-green sampler deck for a new player to help teach them.

Birds of Paradise and Llanowar Elves to demonstrate the concept of mana ramping; Strangleroot Geist to demonstrate undying and haste; Garruk's Companion to demonstrate trample and green's unnaturally large creatures; rounding out the curve with Leatherback Baloth for a large body and Giant Spider for reach; Rancor is a super simple yet powerful creature enchantment; Giant Growth is in here to demonstrate combat tricks and green's ability to "enlarge" creatures, alongside Revenge of the Hunted for added fun; Thragtusk, Bellowing Tanglewurm, Elderscale Wurm , and Deadbridge Goliath end up on the higher end of our massive Green curve, demonstrating some of Green's huge bombs.
