Something that I originally thought up on a whim for a causal-themed Legacy deck built around Swampwalk.. But quickly evolved into something else that would be really irritating to play against..

..Death by Mana Burn..

What you have before you is an enchantment-heavy deck, built to actually punish an opponent for using their own mana.. Every turn you're making your opponent's mana work against them (and thus limiting their options); generally by turning either it into Swamps ( Evil Presence ), causing damage when tapped ( Pooling Venom ), both (Contaminated Ground), or by causing it to be outright destroyed (when tapped)( Blight ).. Not to mention a well placed Dash Hopes could ruin anybody's day.. And if they do manage to get a creature out, then Seizures , Grasp of Darkness , and Royal Assassin (most of all..) effectively provides additional punishment and field control..

A couple of specific subsitutions invovling the sideboard:

Corrupted Roots -- replaces Pooling Venom if I'm facing against a Green and/or White Deck.. (As it basically does the same effect for (1) less.. But only to Forests and/or Plains..)

&

Demon's Horn -- replaces Evil Presence if I'm playing against another Mono-Black Deck as it would be absolutely worthless to turn a swamp--into a Swamp!!.. The main weakpoint I see in this deck, but this would help keep pace with whatever craziness they dish out while their mana slowly kills them..

OR

Inthe case of both; where my opponent(s) happens to mix black with green and/or white, then Corrupted Roots will replace Evil Presence ..
