Shaking things up. —April 14, 2019

I'm getting a bit tired of winning with a big old Torment of Hellfire after wheeling several turns. I'm thinking of leaning to a spells for profit deck. Just testing the waters for now but we will see how I feel about this in a month or so. Not making a full switch just yet so consider this change more of a refocus.

WHAT'S OUT

Go for the Throat Trimming spot removal.

Commander's Sphere

Seething Song Focusing less on big X win spells so this one is out to.

Wildfire Eternal He hit the field pretty rarely and with no big ETB or triggered abilities he isn't that tempting of a rez target.

Comet Storm Trying to focus less on big X win spells.

Niv-Mizzet, Parun I love the card but that casting cost is restrictive as all hell and without resurrection (which this deck doesn't currently run) there is no way this guy is going to get cast consistently.

WHAT'S IN

Tormenting Voice More low CMC draw options

Counterflux I should have put this in earlier, being able have an uncounterable counter will be handy.

Ill-Gotten Gains I forgot about this card. Great insurance to bring back my multiple spells I may wheel away early.

Epic Experiment Just want to have some fun throwing the switch with this card again.

Runechanter's Pike Alternate win con.

Chandra Ablaze Another source of wheeling and spot removal. Not too committed to keeping her in but it's fun to have my favorite planeswalker in the deck again.
