I decided to touch-up a self mill deck I made when I first started playing Magic back in Innistrad block. It's fairly straightforward - ways to get creatures in the graveyard, things that benefit from them being there - Gnaw to the Bone to keep yourself alive.

Recent Alterations

The deck used to have a glaring weakness of frequently dying to it's own mill effects. I learned of an in-block combo that should alleviate this by running 1 copy of Laboratory Maniac and 1 copy of Memory's Journey. Should help avoid self mill since restoring the maniac is very easy when both cards have been milled.

I also added some Mindshrieker because of it's good interaction with Ghoultree and a single Artful Dodge to help get the big beaters through.

Manabase

I don't feel like tracking down old dual lands so I'm probably going to stick with a basic heavy manabase. I am not concerned about the colours too much since it's only 2 but I'm a bit concerned about the number of lands. Lands feel really bad to mill or hit with Mindshrieker so I'd rather keep the count down and use cards like Deranged Assistant, Mulch and Dawntreader Elk. Still playing with this to get a good balance.
