18 April 2025. A Return to 5 Colours —April 17, 2025
With the printing of Mox Jasper I made the bitter sweet decision to change the deck from 3 colours back to 5. The previous commanders were Rograkh and Silas Renn and we return to the previous commander Ramos, Dragon Engine. It's at this time I finally remove the recently banned Jewelled Lotus, Mana Crypt and Dockside Extortionist. I had been talking to my play groups about playing "no bans" but those conversations pretty much went no where, and playing the deck with banned cards makes it feel less special, like I'm making a special exception for the deck. Landless was always supposed to be challenging, and losing those big mana producers will add to the challenge, though, I am feeling good about adding Carpet of Flowers, Elvish Spirit Guide, Smothering Tithe and Mox Jasper into the deck.
Arcbound Ravager is a fun piece of tech to fuel mana production from Ramos, as well as a sac outlet for various goblins. And I am excited to try Cryptolith Rite.
Cards taken out: Cloud Key, Silver Myr, Iron Myr, Howling Mine, Rograkh, Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, Silas Renn, Mana Crypt, Dockside Extortionist, Jeweled Lotus
Cards added in: Ramos, Dragon Engine, Elvish spirit guide, Noxious revival, Mox Jasper, Carpet of Flowers, Smothering Tithe, Cryptolith Rite, Arcbound Ravager, Ornithopter of paradise, Arcane Signet, Fellwar Stone

Hello General, thanks for commenting and your card suggestions. I'm definitely not going to break the no-land rule because that's the gimmick of the deck and even in certain situations would make it worse.
As for Pia's Revolution which is a card I hadn't seen till now. It's certainly a good card, but I don't think my deck can get value from it, My opponents would know which cards to give me and which to not and I have hardly any sac outlets for it. I think i'll just stick with Disciple of the Vault and Retract.

Scrap Trawler might be better. I just realized it wasn’t in there.
You could add Sword of the Meek and Thopter Foundry too. Foundry would be good on it’s own, plus it gives you a combo to end the game with KCI.

Hello, thanks for commenting again. I'm trying to avoid going infinite in the deck because I know that those combos will dominate my lines of play if I put them in the deck. The three cards you just suggested don't work well by themselves, Thopter Foundry requires 2 different types of mana to play and requires mana to make a 1/1, sword of the meek just doesn't work by itself and scrap trawler would require me to play Myr Retreaver and then the deck becomes cherios.
I won't be using those three but the more I thought about Pia's Revolution the more I want to play it. It works really well by itself or with storm and turns all my baubles into bolts. I particularly like the idea of being allowed to re-use Welding Jar. I'm a bit of a hypocrite for saying it depends on my opponents but so do the traps, I was going to play all 3 traps but instead i'll take out the two I have to make room for Pia's Revolution and Charbelcher.
Thanks for showing me more cards ^-^

You can play Scrap Trawler by itself. It’s just a good way to recover is someone vandalblasts or the like. Doesn’t have to go infinite.

This is awesome to see as I just designed my own no lands edh deck. It's definitely more all in than yours and uses [Laboratory Maniac] as the only win condition. I salute you with an upvote fellow landless player!

Hi Tizzle, There's aren't many of us running around with landless decks. I've built mine to be as reliable as possible with a variety of win conditions. Lab-Man could be one of them but usually what happens when I play that many artifacts is I storm out or I hit belcher.
I have also won with blightsteel colossus.
I hope you get as much joy from your landless deck as much as I do with mine. Do you have a link to yours? I would like to see it.

Dohyden I made mine 'mostly' as a joke when someone challenged me to make it, it's very glass canon and folds to a single counterspell but I really don't mind as its still fun. Yes I do, here you go This Is Not A Good Idea.
A few of suggestions for your deck.
Grapshot is great but Tendrils of Agony is much more powerful in my opinion. It's harder to cast but the upside is worth it, it does more to opponents and keeps you alive at the same time. Maybe not a replacement for grapeshot but a good addition to the deck.
Empty the Warrens is a great storm card for the deck but it might be too slow as it gives each of your opponents a turn to deal with your board state.
Mind's Desire would be crazy in your deck and would probably cast a ridiculous number of you cards for free.
Aetherflux Reservoir would also be crazy in your deck, it gives you lifegain and another wincon.
Hurkyl's Recall would be great for bouncing your Artifacts to recast them with Jhoira or Archmage out or it can be used on an opponent with problem Artifacts.

Since the deck doesnt have any lands, wouldn’t Ankh of Mishra fit well in?

I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say add Darksteel Citadel so you can play Land Grant. Definitely worth breaking your rule for that one land since you got some metalcraft stuff going on and it’s free ramp.
Pia's Revolution could be a thing too.
