The game plan is simple: reduce your opponents resources to zero through discard and mana-screwing.

Use Contaminated Ground , Smallpox , Field of Ruin , and Ghost Quarter to destroy lands and discard to strand mana intensive cards in hand. Eventually you'll reach a game state where you're drawing multiple cards a turn with Castle Locthwain and you're pressuring the opponent with Nether Spirit and Shrieking Affliction / The Rack .

One of the biggest benefits to playing this deck is you can be much more aggressive with your keeps and your land destruction than normal because there are so many lands in the deck and it's so likely that you will topdeck one.
