2022 Update (1st half - SNC?) —May 22, 2022
Recently I've decided to make updates every half a year instead of every set due to MtG product overload. This gives me more time to virtually playtest new cards and maybe spend a bit less money on unnecessary or quickly obsolete cards.
You might also call this SNC update, but nonetheless here we go:
- Mystical Tutor --> Farseek - I personally don't see much usage for this tutor here as it mostly brought me other tutors, Farseek being back increases density of ramp spells, which might help with early-game a lot and doesn't hurt much late game, because if I have too much mana, I might just as well cast General
- Carpet of Flowers --> Noble Hierarch - Carpet is very meta dependent, without anybody playing /X it's dead card so it naturally went to Sideboard as future meta-call, making room for Noble Hierarch, who's back after a very short absence.
- Mystic Remora --> Chaos Dragon - change due to my playstyle, this deck needs a bit more Dragons and Chaos Dragon can "spread the love" very early; on the other hand players know how to play around Remora, which I tried to use as a card advantage.
- Ketria Triome --> Ziatora's Proving Ground - I didn't even acquire Triome and it's good because WotC recently made exact land I needed here and it's fabolous target for Farseek; Ketria Triome or Jetmir's Garden are placed in Maybeboard as probable 2nd Triome in case it might be necessary.
