Updated for the Post- TC meta! —Feb. 10, 2015

GlistenerAgent showed me a guy's list on reddit, and he did some things that I liked, and some things that I didn't. I'm gonna simplify the changes, and explain them here.

Mainboard:

-1 Liliana of the Veil (I had 4, and it was good, but there was room there for more utility)

-1 Resolute Archangel (no longer stupid-relevant, now that aggro isn't like 79 percent of the meta anymore)

-1 Lingering Souls A stupid good card, but not relevant in some matchups. 1 has been moved into the SB.

These 3 cards have been replaced with:

1 Tasigur, the Golden Fang: This guy is a house. Wish I'd known just how good he'd be earlier. I'd have gotten a foil set of him. Ah, well. He pretty much does everything this deck wants, including the possibility of getting extra win-cons into play.

1 Inquisition of Kozilek: Rounding out the Discard package. It's really key in a lot of matchups, and not having one makes Gifts a little weak.

1 Sultai Charm: This was one of the main things that the guy on Reddit did that I loved. I hadn't really paid much attention to this charm before, but it's super versatile, and is useful in almost any matchup.

SIDEBOARD:

This is a bigger update, but suffice to say that I've streamlined the SB to fight against our new overlords.

I was interested to see Sylvan Caryatid in the control version of this deck. Acceleration in Midrange variants seems really good, but Caryatid/Birds seems like kind of a nonbo with sweepers--though, admittedly you aren't super wrath-heavy pre-board.

mattr2013: Wraths are really only FUBAR buttons. All the deck needs to do is stabilize the board, and have enough mana to cast/animate Elesh Norn and search. Typically when I wrath, I already have about 6 mana in play. Losing the 2 or so to wipe a full board clean is usually worth it.

@slovakattack, How do you think Goryo's Vengeance +Griselbrand would be for some SB bomb tech?

I think it'd take away from what the deck is all about, honestly. Why run that combo when you could just run Gris and Unburial Rites? (if you want the Gris).

Your opponent is going to be SBing GY hate against you in G2-3, I guarantee it. Why play into his or her plan by making your deck -more- GY dependent?

Makes sense. I was just curious what you thought about that in the mix.

Still debating testing out Griselbrand in the deck, Could be good to load up the hand.

He's good, but I never liked him, just as a personal preference. Test him out; see what you think.

Why Resolute Archangel? How has it been working out for ya? Also have you considered Spellskite on SB

klone13: Resolute Archangel was a reaction to the extremely aggressive meta that followed the TC era. With that era falling behind, and it being easier to stabilize, she may be put out for the more traditional Iona.

Spellskite doesn't really do much for this deck. Typically, I only throw the win-con out when the opponent is top-decking, so it's not really needed to ensure it's survival.

Wurmcoil Engine would fill her spot easily.

GlistenerAgent: Interesting. I was just playtesting Tasigur for my deck as well. It's looking like a shoo-in, honestly. He's just too good, especially for my gameplan.
