I don't like the timebug - feels slow

I kinda like Chronozoa and Deadly Grub - cool but not great

I love Descent into Avernus

I like subversion and other Creeping Bloodsucker type effects

Braids is almost certainly going to help the table more than it helps you

There are better evasion tools than prowlers helm and trailblazers boots. See ex: Aether Tunnel - Sword Coast Sailor - Security Bypass

There is better removal than Terminate

Suggestions:

Vegetables: you have 2 protection spells and 4 boot type effects - almost enough to keep obeka on the board. +4 including counterspells means you will likely only be able to protect her once, maybe twice.

I'm counting 5 evasion effects, +menace is not quite enough to be able to consistently relay on landing damage.

I would add at least 2 swamps. really +3-4 lands would be ideal to be able to hit 3 colors. It's going to be hard for you to play any of your spells with 2 black mana with the current color producing distribution. I would just go for 1/3 each color as the first adjustment.

There is no such thing as too much card draw

He's seriously underplayed (looking at maybe a little more than a hundred decks on EDHREC) but incredibly powerful and fun! His most popular background seems to be Sword Coast Sailor, and I tried him with black, white and green backgrounds as well. Eventually, I settled with green (be sure to have a look at the list here: https://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/make-avernus-greater-good-again/?cb=1666819392).

I would definitely suggest choosing the secondary color which suits you best first and then adjusting the background accordingly. If you have a build in mind (or a first draft), be sure to send me a link :-)

Cool play on Umbris! Love that you are using Sakashima of a Thousand Faces and Cloning effects in your build!

My Pod caught on waaaay too fast to those tricks and I have to switch directions. Lol

Dragon Hatchling, Sword Coast Sailor

Ebony Horse and (more expensive) Maze of Ith because all you have to do is attack and then pull back something that was going to be smooshed by a blocker.

Say I have a Wyll, Blade of Frontiers with four +1/+1 counters and the Shameless Charlatan background on the field. If pay the three to make Wyll into a copy, do the four +1/+1 counters remain on that copy?

Gleeock - yeah Baeloth seems just goofy. I think it's best pairings are with Agent of the Shadow Thieves or Criminal Past. Raised by Giants is a huge power boost, but to set it all up costs 10 mana which is a bit expensive.

So I just read Burakos, Party Leader. Since they count as four party types, they automatically dome the defending player for 4 damage and make 4 treasures correct? Seems pretty good when paired with Sword Coast Sailor.
