Enchantment

At the beginning of your upkeep, sacrifice Season of the Witch unless you pay 2 life.

At end of turn, destroy all untapped creatures that didn't attack this turn, except for creatures that couldn't attack.

Season of the Witch's effect looks at creatures that could have been declared as attackers during the Declare Attackers step but weren't. The ruling you found means you won't be penalized for not taking any additional actions to enable a creature to attack if it is currently unable. For example: if you choose not to activate Tidewater Minion's first ability, then it can't attack, so Season of the Witch won't destroy it. However, an enchanted/equipped Novice Knight who doesn't attack will get destroyed, because it could have been declared as an attacker. Likewise for any Defender while Arcades, the Strategist is around.

I would like to know what would happen if I have Season of the Witch and Crawlspace out at the same time. If the opponent has 5 creature and only two can attack they wouldn't be destroyed correctly due to it last line of text in the Oracle text? Also when would this destroy a creature, when someone decides not to attack?

Goad is not a good mechanic, as it forces the creatures to attack someone else other than him. That's not what he really wants.

Angel's Trumpet sort of forces the creatures to attack. Crown of Doom works as an incentive for the opponents to attack you. Season of the Witch also forces everyone (you included) to attack.

Have you considered cursing yourself? The curse auras say "enchant player", not "enchant opponent", meaning you can curse yourself so that opponents get an incentive by attacking you. It's a bit of a trade off: you attack me, lose your creature but get something else in return.

Curse of Disturbance, Curse of Shallow Graves, Curse of the Forsaken, Curse of Vitality

Just a few more; Season of the Witch, Black Cat, Bubbling Cauldron, Disturbed Burial, Desecrated Tomb, Reassembling Skeleton, Ghosts of the Damned, Haunted Crossroads,Gallows at Willow Hill, Bad Moon.

Can go to the gatherer and look for creature types like werewolf, zombie, scarecrow.

Or keywords like haunted, dead, grim, blood, etc.
