Infinite Combo!

Hi guys,
With all of the hype around Aether Revolt, I was looking at some of the visual spoilers. I thought of an infinite combo:
Sol Ring + Paradox Engine + Isochron Scepter + Lightning Bolt deals infinite damage, as well as granting you infinite colorless mana.

Shock and Lightning Strike. But it's still a 4 card combo.

readerrw07: Lightning Bolt is actually pretty solid in EDH - it hits a lot of stuff and people don't often see it coming.
As for the original post, yeah, Paradox Engine is just dumb. But if you're going to be running Isochron Scepter I would recommend running Dramatic reversal and Aetherflux Reservoir as well.

MAESTROJRmtg, that is an excellent combo, but it requires four cards to fully execute, which makes it difficult and risky. In my mind, the best combos use either two or three cards, no more. I also would suggest that, for the exact same amount of mana, one should use Lightning Helix instead of Lightning Bolt, because the life gained could be useful, if an opponent has a damage-dealing instant of their own.

Cute EDH combo. Anything that can replace bolt thats more commonly run?
