Triplicate Spirits

Just in case someone is having a late limited thing in near future.

The card is just bonkers, it can bring you back from really bad situations and puts you way forward on an equal board. Everytime I played this card today, it was important for the rest of the match.

I went 5-2, 9th place out of 75 by the way, so you can trust me on this.

Oh and Inferno Fist is also pretty good. I only had it used against me, but it's doing some work.

Thanks for the heads up! I'm going to a prerelease on Sunday.

I got 4th place and I can second this statement. Triplicate Spirits hurt when someone else landed it, but won me more than one game.

There is so much truth in this statement.

Also...Triplicate Spirits with Midnight Guard is absolutely unfair. If you can get more than one guard out you can just chain TS. I watched a guy chain 3 Triplicate Spirits in one turn today.

So... Is it only good in limited, or do you also think, that it could be good in constructed standard?

@PlattBonnay Now I will also second you, because I had a Midnight Guard too. I chained my two copies twice today and it felt glorious.

@peterlravn: Hmm... I think it's not good in the current meta. Bile Blight, Anger of the Gods, Supreme Verdict and Drown in Sorrow are still running around. On the other hand, the card can be really scary... There are a lot of anthems and it works with Brave the Elements .

I'll go with no for now, but I can be wrong here.

Oh, and if either Soul Warden or Soul's Attendant get printed in Khans, this will be a deck (cough Ajani's Pridemate cough)

Lastly, I have to give a shoutout to the white promo: Resolute Archangel . I originally wanted black, but it was completely taken already. While I think the Dragon is better, simply for it's giant body, the Angel is scary. I had some kind of Wall-Control deck and the Angel was turning me up from the bottom of 3 one time.I'm very satisfied with this card.

Triplicate Spirits was pretty insane, but I can say that Flesh to Dust was surprisingly good last night while Pillar of Light was surprisingly weak.

Really? My one Pillar of Light hit 4 Souls throughout my matches, all of which would have ended the game against my favor had they stuck.

I didn't see a single soul the whole night. My Pillar hit Haunted Plate Mail and Resolute Archangel and that was it.

Haunted Plate Mail is a nightmare to play against by the way. I managed, but it's really difficult without appropriate removal. +4/+4 is a lot.

I would pick Lightning Strike before a Triplicate Spirits every time

Don't do that. Unless you're not in white.

I had a lot of fun at the prerelease playing BR. My deck bordered on zombie tribal, with 10 zombie creatures and a Necromancer's Stockpile (That card is insane, BTW, expect to see it in standard if the environment supports it.) Carrion Crow was a huge card for me, I had 2 of them.

Triplicate Spirits was only played against me once, but I lost almost instantly. It was a turn four play from a GW deck. Absolutely BRUTAL.

Borderland Marauder was another sweet low drop, especially against slower decks.

Interestingly enough, I never had much trouble with the spirits. But then I was playing Festergloom in those games, and there ain't nothing like hitting 4+ creatures off it every time [insert evil laughter here].

Honestly, I found Sungrace Pegasus to be my all star common.
