Help w/ Derevi stax deck

The evasive maneuvers precon got me into commander, but then it was just a collection of cool cards I had in those colors. I'm trying to improve it so that it can better survive my (moderately competitive) meta. Please feel free to make any suggestion you think could improve the deck but what Im really looking for are help with cutting cards and cheap (at or below $5) cards that would make my little 2/3 bird wizard strike fear into the hearts of my enemies

You need to upgrade your rocks. Signets and Talismans. Not stuff like Gilded Lotus. Conjurer's Closet is too slow. Cut every creature other than Sun Titan and Trinket Mage. Both Palinchron, and Deadeye Navigator are ok if you're going for the combo. Stax wants to keep the board clear. It's usually counterproductive to summon creatures.

You'll want to drop your ACMC to a maximum of 2.5. Finally, you aren't playing stax until you actually run sacrifice effects. You need stuff like Smokestack, Karmic Justice, False Prophet, Mana Vortex, etc.
