    • With all the new protection cards, I felt that the deck was too inconsistent, and because of that, worse. I think the best way to fix that is cut the Umbral Mantle + Viridian Joiner and move that to the sideboard. Against counterheavy machups I will side out Midnight Guard, Heliod's Pilgrim and Sunstrike Legionnaire for Autumn's Veil, Viridian Joiner, and Umbral Mantle.

    This'll be fun in casual things. Maybe bring it to FNM and have a bit of fun. =D

    Sounds like that could be a good idea. It'll be great if I can find somebody who runs a $300 "casual" deck and totally wreck them with this $20 deck.

    Any reason why this deck cannot be used in Legacy? "Hey... I know your deck is worth the same as a car... But hey... We had fun, right?"

    Also, Brushland . Comes into play not tapped, and can get either green or white for 1 life. Also, it's not very expensive. Maybe worth considering.
