Just finished a tiring tournament- this deck did fabulously. It got down to the wire between me and a very talented and intelligent man running a landfall combo deck. Game 1 I completely obliterated him, making me think it would be easy. Games 2 and 3 I got him to within low digits of life and he managed to give his Walking Ballista death touch and ping ping ping everything of mine. Personally think it's unfair. Just kidding, but walking ballistae are no no's against this deck - sideboard in shocks to kill them ASAP. Will try to get more spires of industry for next week but for now the deck is kick-ass! (PS sideboard out a counter spell and a bonesaw for 2 Bastion Inventors if you need solid creatures against decks that meddle too much with your stuffs)

Hello! I had also build a grixis improvise deck. If you want it's Grixis Chandra and Tezzeret Improvise.I like your approach but if I were you I will drop 2 Hope of Ghirapur and add 2 Tezzeret the Schemer.Put into sideboard 1 Reverse Engineer and 1 Tezzeret's Touch and add or 2Heart of Kiran or 2 Aethersphere Harvester.

It would seem that you want to build your improvise deck around Tezzeret's Touch making 5/5 fliers of Thopters. If you had more artifacts Inspiring Statuary would be invaluable. Yes 1/1 tokens to crew Aethersphere Harvester, which is a 3/5 flier would be a good idea. I just don't think that Bomat Courier adds anything to this deck. If you lowered your mana curve, Paradoxical Outcome might be useful. My first change would, however, be to replace Bomat Courier with Perpetual Timepiece, which is great for cycling your graveyard back into your deck. Then look to add in at least one other win condition - there are quite a few available to improvise decks and you might get some ideas from Pia's Atrifact Mix--(I need to correct that spelling mistake).
