So the deck took a hard hit today. I made the mistake of mousing over all the cards to make sure their TCG mid prices were current. Some of my all-star cards ended up being over the line. Bile Blight is like 8 cents over the line whereas Havengul Lich was a whopping $1.40 over the $2 budget.
The cards I threw in are basically the "cheap replacements" of the cards I threw out. The only exceptions being Cyclonic Rift and Bile Blight. I originally threw Bile Blight in to deal with tokens, so hopefully Archfiend of Depravity will help out a bit on that end. There's no real replacement for Cyclonic Rift (barring something like In Garruk's Wake). I'm debating between some sort or single target removal (like Murder) or a mill card (like Memory Erosion) and I'm leaning towards the second. For now I put in Take Possession because it fits the flavor of the deck and can help deal with artifacts and enchantments that black/blue has such a difficult time trying to destroy.
