-1 Deadwood Treefolk
+1 Creeping Renaissance
-1 Lightning Greaves
+1 Umbral Mantle

Deadwood Treefolk is a little one dimensional when it comes to recursion. With Creeping Renaissance, not only can I bring back a creature, I can bring back ALL creatures, or artifacts, enchantments, lands, so on and so forth. It's CMC is one less than the Treefolk and I can Flash Back with it. ]

Lightning Greaves was primarily used for haste purposes, more so than protection. I wanted it out to equip to Karametra's Acolyte or Patron of the Orochi (who might be on the chopping block) so I could utilize them right off the bat. Umbral Mantle gives the possibility of infinite mana with Karametra's Acolyte and Argothian Elder. I might end up cutting it for Thousand-Year Elixir, but I want to see how the Mantle plays out with some testing.

foxnewsat6: I'm currently testing Freyalise, but if she doesn't cut it, Nissa might take her spot.

foxnewsat6: It gets hard to test multiple cards to tweak a deck when you already like how your deck performs. It takes me a little bit of time to come to a decision on what to cut, without comprising the deck's overall performance and the way it's intended to run.

I believe I cut Wickerbough Elder to test Freyalise. You're investing the same amount of mana for their destroy ability, but Freyalise also gives you mana dorks and a draw ability as well. Although I think she works better in a Kamahl, Fist of Krosa deck, I have thought about testing Nissa in this deck.
