the basic idea I am going for here is more consistency for turn 1 plays. the deck often runs right into removal if your not pressuring on turn 1. this is why a card like Heartfire hero is good because its a turn 1 play. favored hoplite is defiantly better but not having to mulligan to a t1 play is huge for this deck. "crumb and get it" might be the best new addition because it fixes 2 previous issues with the deck,
1. you need a right mix of pump spells and protection spells (this counts as both)
2. it allows you to play more creatures because it basically fulfills 2 roles in the deck making it more consistent
I ambitiously cut Illuminator virtuoso for Emberheart challenger for mainly 1 reason... Haste, having both our 2 drops have haste is key as this mainly forces opponents to always be in a reactive state and allows for easy bounce backs after a board wipe. while this does take away the ability for a turn 3 kill the constancy is worth it
overall this deck is much more resilient to removal and more consistent than the older version and believe it might even be a T1 deck in the future
