Deckling -
My name is Conor but a lot of my friends call me Cooner. I have been playing magic since the Onslaught block (2002) and I have played all sorts of formats over the years but now I only find interest in playing the EDH format. I am currently in the process of making an EDH deck for every 2-color and 3-color mana combination. I also have several secondary decks that share cards with other decks. For example I have a Wort, the Raidmother deck that I primarily play but sometimes switch out 60 of the cards making into a Rosheen Meanderer deck. I am always trying to find more people to play EDH with so if you live in the Southern NH area and would like to play EDH sometime, leave me a message.
First and foremost, when I create an EDH deck I design them for playing four player games. I also try to make my decks as powerful as possible but avoid cards that create infinite combos that instantly win you the game because that is not fun and leads to decks being played the same way every game. I also try to avoid taxing effects that slow down games to a halt such as Ravages of War and Winter Orb or cards that prevent players from casting anything such as Gaddock Teeg and Void Winnower. I also stay away from extra turn cards and infect cards but don't hate those archetypes nearly as much as the before mentioned super oppressive stax/tax cards. I still however like to include power-house cards in all of my decks that may cause people to complain such as Hatred, Sneak Attack
, Tooth and Nail, Omniscience and Avacyn, Angel of Hope. Bellow is a list of all my decks, I hope you like them and I am very interested in getting your feedback.
