Will Deathmist Raptor keep it's current fourteen dollar price tag post release?
Possibly, as it combos well with cards in mono green and green/white decks in standard atm.

First off, I personally believe that it's the best card in DTK in terms of Standard, which as the most popular format will also be the driving force behind its price.
Deathtouch with decent p/t makes it great against creature-heavy decks, while its recursion makes it value-town against removal. Considering the fact that other creatures that can be played from the yard typically can't block (Bloodsoaked Champion, Marang River Prowler, Risen Executioner), this is an extremely powerful combination of abilities. It could be argued that relying on another creature to flip makes its recursion less powerful, but imho the upside of bringing back multiples at instant speed without losing tempo makes it worth the "drawback."
To top it off, it effectively plays around a lot of the best Exile removal in the format as well (face-up v Magma Spray and Last Breath; face-down v Ugin, the Spirit Dragon and Abzan Charm; Megamorph v Anger of the Gods), meaning that your opponent has to be able to threaten multiple ways to Exile or they'll never be rid of it as long as you play correctly.
Gushing aside, I do see the price coming down slightly (around $10) since how good a card is doesn't inherently mean that the price will reflect its power. It will almost certainly be a 4-of in any list that has it, but probably won't be used much outside of Green Devotion decks (including GW Manifest). If it is able to crack other G/x aggro lists, or has a use in other fornats, it could hold its price. It likely depends on whether having just 4 Raptors is enough to make the recursion reliable or if other Morph/Manifest synergies are needed.
Sorry for the ridiculously long answer but I just wanted to show one of my favorite cards from the new set some love lol.
