Got any tips or suggestions for a hyper budget EDH?

So I threw together a few cards I had laying around for my first attempt at a commander deck.

EDH hyper budget

Be gentle, it's my first deck

Dude, I tried making a budget EDH deck when I first got into the format, (since my modern and legacy decks are a little too pricey) and I failed. I ended up buying a bunch of tutors and staples like I do with every other format. lol.

I will check the deck out in a few minutes. But I am not too familiar with the format as a whole, so my help will probably be a little sketchy.

Psst... I heard you were in the market for an extremely cheap EDH deck.

I'll just leave this here...

Sleazebag you wouldn't happen to have been around mtgdeckbuilder.net back in the day? Might be a coincidence of user names, but you have the same name as someone I used to know over there.

It's less that I'm looking for a budget one and more that I had cards sitting around and threw them together to see if they'd mesh without spending money on anything.

I have an Intet, the Dreamer deck that I've been working on (you can find it here: Time Keeps 'Dragon' On) so I can probably give you some tips. First off, exactly how much is your budget? As in, how much are you willing to spend on cards?

RoarMaster: Nice to see you too! Honestly I have been pretty quiet on magic forums since I stopped visiting MTGdeckbuilder, even though I have been actively playing Magic!

The reason is I didn't really like the layout of these forums much, but I decided to post a bit here a few days ago and shamelessly promote my Mikaeus deck (Check it out) and now I'm hooked :|

My max is hopefully less than $2 a card, I am picking up an Animar soonish on a trade, but I don't see myself buying anything over $5 and it'd have to be a very key piece to make me pay my $2 max

Mono color is the best for hyper budget. Goblins with Krenko, Mob Boss.

Control with Talrand, Sky Summoner- can even toss in a few combos here and there. Infinite mana with Grand Architect+Pili-Pala, and outlets like Capsize, Blue Sun's Zenith, Magma Mine, or another budget mana sink for the win card.

You might want to reconsider a different commander then. Intet is most effective with cards like Sensei's Divining Top, Scroll Rack, and Sylvan Library, all of which are in the $20+ price range.

You should be able to make a good Gruul deck on a budget though. I suggest Xenagos, God of Revels as your commander.

As I said above I'm replacing Intet with Animar, Soul of Elements relatively soon so less focus on top deck stuff, this was just a spare cards deck of stuff I have already.
