Did Bow of Nylea just become good?

Tried 1 Bow of Nylea in main and 1 in side last friday. The 2 games it came up without an answer it was MVP. I believe the slower meta and grindier matchups have given this card's versatility a time to shine.

Here's the list:

What do you guy's think? Is Bow of Nylea tier-1 material in mono-grn devotion?

Trample Hexproof Deathtouch? Yeah, that'll do.

@TheNinjaJesus Are you referring to Sagu Mauler with the Bow out? Pretty decent for sure.

I've also been testing with a bow main and sideboard. I ALSO came to the conclusion that is was super powerful and advised the people I was testing with to try it out. They ALSO came to the same conclusion. It almost always is the target for counterspells or removal when it can be. I would say yes.

I know this isn't very plausible but Bow of Nylea +Dragon-Style Twins +Nylea, God of the Hunt is just fun. Yay for killing anything and still doing 5 damage to the opponent. There's also probally better first strikers/double stickers but Dragon-Style Twins was the first that came to mind.

Nagaram, it's very plausible. Naya control. Also, don't forget to let Prophetic Flamespeaker play too!

If first strike and deathtouch does it for you then just run Ankle Shanker .

We all know of the machine gun combo that is Polukranos + Bow, and it certainly works incredibly with Nylea's trample.

Is the life gain significant enough against decks like Jeskai tempo?

I'm running Bow of Nylea mainboard in my sultai control list. Not only does it recycle relevant spells and shoot down X/2 fliers, it gains 3 life a turn for 2 mana? Yes please, I'll take stabilization on a stick. It'd be even better with creatures in the list to be pumped for sure.

I run 3 in my Temur Monsters deck. I can give the list if anyone wants to see it.

Can't think of any relevant x/2 fliers, would be broken if it sniped Mantis Rider wouldn't it?

Some additional fun can be had running it along side Kiora's Follower

Advocate: It does work against Hornet Queen , and that's actually relevant.

@Spootyone Great point, answering hornet queen was a big reason for Ross Meriam's black splash for Doomwake Giant . It's good to know we can Katniss those buggers away, albeit one at a time.

Advocate: If you happen to have a Chandra, Pyromaster out at the same time, it can kill those riders, but that's a situational circumstance.

Ive always loved Bow of Nylea . It practically gives all your smaller creatures evasion. And the stabilization can really pull you of of situations.

Was Bow of Nylea ever bad?? In my eyes its one of the top 2 God weapons (the other being Whip of Erebos ). I feel its getting its eyes in the limelight now, but it was still very good to start with.

The generally slower format is helping it shine more, ElementTitan. I think before it was deemed not worth the mana investment.

My current favorite bow combo is Bow of Nylea + Soul of Shandalar . Attack, then for every use of the ability you get to kill something, plus automatically kill the blocker, plus deal 3 damage to an opponents planeswalker or face for every activation. It's sick.

I'm pretty sure a pile of sleeved up cards don't really have much penetration or pumping value gnarlicide.

A machine on the other hand ...
