Ok, heres how this works. You create a card to the specifications of the person above you, then list your own card idea for the next person. I'll start.
Variety XX
Sorcery
If X is 2 or lower, draw X cards. If X is 3, put X +1/+1 counters on X target creatures. If X is 4, return X target creatures from your graveyard to the battlefield. If X is 5 or more, Variety deals x damage to target creature or player. If X is 10 or more, you win the game.
Create a life gaining multicolored Turtle with power twice it's toughness or vice versa.

Glacial Cascade

When Glacial Cascade is destroyed, you may search your library for an Island and put it onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffle your library.

So, I now work in industrial ammonia refrigeration (been here for a year end of this month).
Part of our system is something called a water chiller, which is a vessel that uses cold water to remove heat from ammonia for refrigeration purposes.
We have a pressure relief valve that failed, and water began siphoning up the vent to the roof and spilling over like a waterfall.
I also live in Illinois, where we have been experiencing a polar vortex. -12° F for the past two or three days. So that waterfall turned into a glacial cascade about a foot thick and about 50' tall
Today, after the pipe was cut and capped, I was given the task of removing that ice. So I was on a boom lift with a hammer, crowbar and wide chisel breaking enormous hunks of ice from the wall for 3-1/2 hours in 7° weather.
Honestly was a ton of fun. One section I broke free was a solid foot thick, about 4 feet wide and broke off in like a 10' length!! That was so cool watching it crash down and shatter against the pavement below!!
Anyway, that was my inspiration for the card ^_^

At the beginning of your upkeep, put a spore counter on Thallid Garden.
Remove three spore counters from Thallid Garden: Create a 1/1 green Saproling creature token.
Sacrifice two Saprolings: Search your library for a Fungus creature card, reveal it, put it into your hand, then shuffle.
Yup, I'm cultivating fungi. Specifically, I'm seeing how they grow and develop in local winter conditions.
If you care about American football, create a card inspired by a college or professional team. Bonus points if it somehow references one of the NFL divisional games this weekend. Otherwise, wild.

Either take literally any weapon Kratos has wielded in the God of War series and make it into a legendary equipment or aura
Or
Make Kratos. Personally I'd do Mardu Voltron but maybe you can come up with something better?

You guys know how combat damage works right?
So all combat damage is finalized (not resolved) together. However if a creature has first strike or double strike, then "first strike combat damage" is issued first, then regular combat damage. And if something has last strike or triple strike, then "last strike" damage is looked at.
Knowing this, make a card with the following text:
"Whenever a creature you control deals first strike combat damage (...)"

Whenever a creature you control deals combat damage to another creature, tap it and put a stun counter on it.
The Yeti of Freylins' Path has been frozen solid for hundreds of years. After a particularly ornery mammoth charged at it and gouged the glacial ice with its tusks, the Yeti reminded the world why it has been feared for so long...

Halfway between midnight and sunrise, when the stars are brightest and the moon is made of gold, the world becomes thinner and less real.
Two existing cards use void counters. You get a theoretical cookie if you can name both of them.
Create a non-artifact walrus.

Nice challenge.
I'd like to see what someone else can do with a Walrus, so repeat although this time you're allowed to make it an artifact creature if you'd like to.
Alternatively, if you'd like a hella hard challenge... Make a legendary oyster. Good luck ;)

This probably won’t fit on an actual card. Make a card with a power and toughness that can’t go down. Like, if it gets +1/+1, until “end of turn”, it instead gets a +1/+1 counter, same for 2, and so on. A little challenge for the wording experts.

Solid Draft bomb. Imagine you have a hand of chaff that you just can't do anything with. Your opponent swings for lethal, so you unload your hand and turn that fodder into frenzy.
Brutal.
Draft bombs are super fun to design so that's the challenge. Make a draft bomb.

Heavy sigh. I've waited years for a bant token commander (and you all have probably heard this before lol) so I was thoroughly disappointed when the face commander was spoiled- so generic and boring. So I'm trying to brew a new commander instead. Thoughts? Repeat the challenge (a bant investigate themed commander) because I'd love to see what others come up with!

The heart of Mirrodin had to oiled, fed and provided with proper care. Just like any garden and just like any garden, it could blossom.

either way, this commander works well for casual play with just lots of clues and food tokens or something. and I could also see some combo being able to pop off with it's ability.
Next challenge:
Create another planeswalker for Aminatou, the Fateshifter. Lore wise she's a bit bonkers as she can alter people's fates as well as her own and the idea of a 5 year old (that is also kinda thousands of years old because she can see her own future fates) being arguably the most powerful post mending planeswalker left is so funny to me.

+1: Search target player's library for a card and exile that card. Then that player shuffles their library.
-1: Put a card exiled with Aminatou, Fateguider into its owner's graveyard. Create a 1/1 white Spirit creature token with flying.
-3: For each player, search that players library for a card, then that player shuffles their library and puts that card on top of it.
Aminatou, Fateguider can be your commander.

All of the intelligence of a Sphinx with all of the destructive capability of a Dragon. Alara didn't stand a chance.

I was making it non-legendary but I decided to upgrade her because it would feel shitty to have such power lost after one play. Also that flavor text implied something much more powerful than a non-singular entity.
Let's assume that Elluthyl was on Alara after it sundered, but during the mending the stress of the plane reforging caused its spark to ignite

At the beginning of your upkeep, you may skip your turn. If you do, draw two cards. You have no maximum hand size until the beginning of your next turn.
Whenever you skip your turn, spells and abilities that target you or permanents you control, as well as creatures that attack you or permanents you control, cost an additional where X is the total number of turns you have skipped since the last turn that you took.
Would need to be worded better, but the obvious idea is that if you skipped 3 turns in a row, spells and abilities that target you and your stuff cost an additional to cast or activate, and creatures that attack you, planeswalkers or battles cost an additional . Then, once you finally decide to take your next turn that will be reset to until you skip your turn, in which case it'll tick up to again
It's complicated, I know. Needs someone who is really strong with rules wording to hammer the wrinkles out of it
You know what I just realized?
So we know Ob Nixilis has now lost his spark twice, once on Zendikar and now again on New Capenna. So he is now trapped for the second time
But with the Omenpaths, he could potentially break free and go on a rampage again
So your challenge is to make a LEGENDARY CREATURE for Ob Nixilis, on your favorite plane (That isn't New Capenna or Zendikar) to show his continued rampage and onslaught.
If NC or Zend are your favorite planes, I'm sorry but he's already been trapped on both. Please select another one. :(
