scorpix Yes it probably is, as he is a warrior. I forgot about that little guy. The only thing is that the protection from multi-coloured can get me in unblocked sometimes.. for example if they have a Fleecemane Lion, I can deal a lot of damage with Soldier of the Pantheon. That being said, trading my 1 cost for their fleecemane is probably better.

I really like the speedy build. My only change would be switching out raise the alarm To try and keep it warrior exclusive. Secure the waste or maybe even read the bones to help for draw. Herald of dramoka Might be good on the side, though I'm not sure how useful vigilance would really be.

Oh snap rtc613, definitely an issue! I thought they were warriors! My bad... The only reason I think I may keep them, is for when you're playing you need to attack and sometimes they might surprise you and attack for a lot, where these can come into play and block right away. It's also not a bad value still. Thanks for pointing that out, it makes a pretty big difference...

I second removing Raise the Alarm. Consider Rush of Battle; it is a great way to finish a game once you build momentum with 4 or 5 warriors on the field. Watch your life quadruple and theirs sink to 0!

I would consider dropping the "affect" creatures down to 3-of or 2-of, since having more than one out on the field doesn't do a whole lot. I run into that issue with Bloodchin Rager a lot.

Similarly, while I love the idea of tanky tribal creatures, do you notice Chief of the Scale helping you win often? IMO, pulling 2 or 4 of them out and replacing with removal (murderous cut, defeat, reprisal?) would be a more efficient way around blockers.

Sorry for the double post: if you want instant-speed blockers, get Secure the Wastes. Better yet, it's cheaper and scales into the late game. Also they get bonuses off your other warriors!

Thanks for commenting AisforAmity and certainly don't worry about double posting! Post as many times as you want to haha.

First off, I agree removing Raise the Alarm is definitely viable now. I love Secure the Wastes and really wish I could add it in, but it won't fall under the budget I have on this deck right now, which is why it is in the list in the description. I'm not totally about how often Chief of the Scale helps me win, but the thing is that I'm very rarely unhappy to draw one. The main purpose of him is for the 0/1 to help out my enough of my other creatures to survive something like Drown in Sorrow.

For removal, I agree that it is good, but I have no issue sending out enough guys that they generally have to sacrifice one of their own to kill one of my low cost creatures. I also have Hidden Dragonslayer to kill any strong creature that finds its way to the battlefield. That being said, I really like the suggestion of Spear of Heliod and I feel as if that could easily replace something in my deck, as it buffs my creatures for a small mana cost of three, and also serves as a tool for removing creatures.

As for the abilities of my creatures, so far I haven't had many issues with drawing too many of one certain card. That being said, Blood-Chin Rager would be easily reduced to three to compensate for something else.

I think I may take out the Raise the Alarms, 1 Blood-Chin Rager, then add in 2x Blood-Chin Fanatic and 3x Spear of Heliod and then test that out.

Running something similar to this currently at FNMs and everything. My local one is dominated by g/r dragons, so I've been running Hero's Downfall and Utter End on top of Bile Blight for some removal when I really need it. Usually 4 Downfall, 3 End in the mainboard, 2 Bile in the sideboard. got some other neat tricks like the cheap Obelisk of Urd, too.

everyoneleftlou Cool additions! I definitely like them, but they do cost money. I'll definitely put them in the maybeboard!

scorpix haha, it certainly may not be considered all that amazing, but using it in this deck can actually benefit you a lot. It's really quick extra damage, with a side bonus of possible regeneration. The main use for it, is when you have multiple creatures on the field, you can choose the best one to give extra attack, first of all it may take blocking away from someone more important like Chief of the Edge, or it could just simply help in doing quick damage. I've playtested this deck, and Molting Snakeskin honestly helps out, if not early game than surely mid game. Although, with a bigger budget it'd be one of the first cards removed. :)
