An extortion deck. The primary objective of this deck is to play at least one small spell each turn and activate as many extortion effects on as many cards as possible. This nets you large life gains each turn, particularly in a multiplayer settings.

Aside from adding more extortion to the field, Pontiff of Blight and Crypt Ghast work very well together to make sure there are lots of opportunities to extort and lots of mana to extort with.

If, for some reason, all the life gained from extortion just is not enough; Blood Baron of Vizkopa is a monster of a threat once you hit 30 life. An easy thing to achieve just a few turns in with this deck.
