griffstick That's a good suggestion! I'm on the fence with her because while I like her uptick ability, her ult takes a full turn longer to get going and dunno how much good stuff she'll have rolling for me. Do you have good experience with her?

I loved running that Kiora myself. Her uptick is great in the right deck, and you do have a few creature targets for the ability. If nothing else, untapping a land is good. The -2 is my favorite though because it is great card advantage, grabbing the two types your deck cares most about.

I wouldn't sweat the ultimate too much, unless your meta is pretty negligent of planeswalkers, it's generally not worth it to build around planeswalker ultimates unless your running proliferate/superfriends.

Yeah I usually never worry about the ults but I like to dream that someday I'll get an emblem. But you do make excellent points, that -2 really is fantastic great advantage.

I'm gonna make a stronger case for her +1. Getting to untap a creature and a land can be some serious ramp with the right set up.

The floor is you make 1 mana from untaping a land and you dont have a creature to untap. The ceiling is you have a awesome land to untap and that land is anything from Simic Growth Chamber to a Gaea's Cradle and a Krosan Restorer . You could make so much mana!

This deck out of the box precon is insane. It pretty easily takes apart most of my custom decks that are mostly budget. The mass bounce, and built in draw, and ramp is what takes this over the top.

grappling hook is amazing for this deck. All green should have song of the dryad to lock out someones commander for cheap.

I think you need an Ashaya, Soul of the Wild in here to trigger every creature as a landfall trigger.

I love Ashaya and it would be insane in this deck, but I also wanted to keep the tribal flavor and limit the amount of non-sea themed creatures unless the synergy was just too good. Maybe I'll trade out Beast Whisperer for Ashaya since it'd be similar effects and also provide me with more ramp...

This bad boy helps blink your creatures for repeated ETBs. Couple that with Ashaya, and BAM; you have a landfall trigger every end step.

Also Time of Need is a cheap tutor that can search for all your legendaries.

The problem is finding cuts! I was also considering upping the lands to 39-40, given the amount of card draw there is. This is my first landfall so tough to know for certain.
