wow, this deck is strong. I tried it vs my deathtouch deck and it only faultered when I was able to get my Creature (with deathtouch) equipped with card:Wolfhunter's Quiver and just shot your army to pieces. My Predator Ooze with trample actually killed me once when your deck took it via Zealous Conscripts . I really can't think of a single idea that would help this deck out, but I will give you +1 because it's a solid deck. (I could see this going top tier sometime soon.)

I like the deck, I agree that Hellrider is a good shoe in for Hero of Oxid Ridge .

A.) battle cry v/s Hellrider ping. Both, in essence, give 1/0 to all of the other attacking creatures. Hellrider doesn't have to swing, Hero of Oxid Ridge must swing. Hellrider pings directly, Hero of Oxid Ridge applies it to the creatures. Unfortunately Hero of Oxid Ridge synergizes with Hellrider shines is his body, a "4"/3 as opposed to a 4/2. This keeps Hellrider out of range of most small spot removal and small board wipes. (Galvanic Blast /Pillar of Flame /Shock /Whipflare all come to mind.)

Hope I've convinced you! +1 on the deck man, looks good.

@Ohthenoises

I appreciate the breakdown. It is quite nice. All in all I still like the Hero of Oxid Ridge a bit more (although I wish he was a 4/3 considering he is a Mythic Rare and they printed Mr. Hellrider at Rare). I like him more for one big reason, that being that he makes my creatures unblockable against the 216 creatures in Standard with 1 or less power which can offer a lot more damage than the straight ping. Its still a close-run thing and Hellrider will almost definitely go in when Mirrodin: Besieged rotates out. Thanks again!

I had the choice in my goblin deck which to run so I had to break down both of them exactly as I said. I had my meta to consider, which was full of solar flare variants and almost no tokens or cheap aggro (preferring ramp midrange). Yours must be full of low cost aggro and tokens?

Also, have you considered a spot (however small it may be, maybe 2 of?) for Burn at the Stake ? It may make a good finisher if you are having an issue getting those last few in.
