Some minor changes —March 4, 2017

Updated the maybe board a little bit. Added some inline swaps. Delay/Arcane Denial, Mind twist/Hymn to Tourach, Rapid Hyb/Pongify/Fatal Push, Chains/Liliana of the Veil. Other cards in maybe board are considerations but do not have direct replacement slots at this time. They are considered more meta dependent or are being considered for testing and pondering what cards to pull out for them.

Highly debating adding in Smallpox at this time haven't pulled that trigger yet.

Swapped Rapid Hybridization for a Fatal Push. I believe it will be doing 99% of what I want and will not be giving out 3/3's. Need some further testing on this one.

Swapped Mind Twist for Hymn to Tourach. I feel that I want easier earlier hand disruption to slow down the combo players and 2cmc for 2 cards is better than 3 cmc for an early two cards. Yes a later game Twist for 4+ is back breaking but I have had too many points with 4 mana and needing to leave 2 up for interaction. Leaving a twist for 1 as not worth it but a hymn to tourach as totally worth it.

Added Praetor's Grasp to the maybe board. It is really strong but due to internet play limitations I have not added it. Unsure what card to cut for it, most likely it would be exhume but it would further weaken the reanimation plan in the deck. It is getting close to the point of not being consistent enough to run in the deck.

arideus101: I do not think that Think Twice provides the level of efficiency that this deck requires, 5 mana for two cards. It does provide flexibility but not the level of value that we need. If I were to include an instant speed card draw spell it would be something like Brainstorm or Thirst for Knowledge.

@bloris: Omniscience is mostly cheated into play with Show and Tell. Though both Omniscience and Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur have been hard cast in cEDH games with this deck. The deck does its best to make games go very long. I've had multiple games get to the point that I have all fetchable lands out of my deck and I use fetch lands as swamps with Urborg.

How do you feel about Crucible of Worlds? Or is it redundant considering Seasons Past?

torridus: Historically I have looked at either Life from the Loam or Crucible of Worlds in a deck as they serve the same purpose. However in regards to mana related effects, Green is almost always the better option. This is the case here as well. The green option gives us more cards in our graveyard and works very well with the deck. If you were in a graveyard hate heavy meta, I could see running Crucible in addition to Life from the Loam. One issue you may run into though is that graveyard hate like Rest in Peace will blank both of those options.
