I wanted to make a thematic "Gateless" deck. Gateless cards fall mostly in white, with a bit of red, splash of black, and then a couple blue and green. I stripped this down to just white and red for mostly thematic reasons, as the pure Gateless cards (the angels, really) have some pink "magic" effects going on. So, red+white=pink. The black cards actually could be handy, and this could go WUBRG and have every gate, and be a Maze's End deck, possibly, but I wanted a bit tighter focus to it. It isn't really a Control deck, but there's a lot of blocking going on, and there are some options for tapping if I want to include them, as well, so, it somewhat is, I guess, or can be.

There aren't a lot of Gateless-related cards, but there's enough that I can see a couple options with a Gateless deck. One is white tokens, which I haven't gone for. I haven't gone for it, because I've played red/white tokens before, and while I enjoy it, I wanted something a little different. This instead, I suppose, focusses on blocking and land control, if that makes sense. The Gateless are "taking" Guild territory, and it's making them more powerful. Meanwhile, Guardian of the Gateless is blocking everything and getting pumped by doing that, as well as other enchantments.

I'd like to keep this to Ravnican cards, again for purely thematic reasons. Mostly I'm not sure if there's too many creatures (or too many BIG creatures), and if I should add in more enchantments. I considered Ethereal Armour, given how many enchantments are already there, but it didn't seem to be worth it. I also don't have a lot of utility with this deck, and there are definitely going to be a lot of threats I can't deal with. But, again, I don't want to step too far outside the theme. Gateless-specific cards are best, non-guilded Ravnican cards are acceptable.

The idea of Thespian's Stage is to double my gate count without adding useless colours, to make everyone even tougher, but other than that, I'm not too sure about the mana base. More plains? Less? Less over all?

Any advice and suggestions are appreciated. Thank you very much for reading.
