I love the idea, so I started browsing all red one-cost cards in Modern using Gatherer... I should be sleeping instead... oh well.

Since you're going entirely for one drops, you may want to condense your plans into two colors - when I playtested your deck with the playtest feature, I had a hard time getting a good start because the manabase is too diverse for getting things out quickly.

You might consider sticking with just two colors - red and white. The reason for that choice is because those are more likely to have "prowess" creatures (I think), and spells that boost all your dudes, rather than just one at a time (like green usually gets for low cost). Giant Growth might be replaced with Built to Smash, Taste for Mayhem Titan's Strength or Furious Resistance

Since you're trying to get lots of dudes into play, spells that boost all your creatures, rather than just one, might be best. In keeping with my red/white suggestion, have you considered Banners Raised, Weapon Surge or Coordinated Assault?

Also, here's a few one-drops that caught my eye.

A Crack the Earth on turn two after playing a little guy, forcing a slower opponent to sacrifice a land or mana dork, could be devasating. Also, replace Swords to Plowshares (Not modern legal) with something modern legal like Path to Exile or, in a pinch, Fiery Impulse or Flame Slash.

You might also try a crazy little Kuldotha Rebirth-BoNeSaW-Goblin Grenade if you want people to hate you...

I'd say cut the Warleader's Helix and Furious Resistance to add 3 Simian Spirit Guides and an additional Lightning Helix or Boros Charm.

Umm, Annihilating Fire, Ash Zealot (maybe, I dont know how much it cost at the time), Banners Raised, Brimstone Volley, Faithless Looting, Fervent Cathar, Flames of the Firebrand, Foundry Street Denizen, Furious Resistance, Guttersnipe, Krenko's Command, Legion Loyalist, Lightning Mauler, Madcap Skills, Pillar of Flame, Reckless Waif  Flip, Reverberate, Riot Piker, Searing Spear, Skullcrack, Thunderbolt, Vexing Devil, Increasing Vengeance, Young Pyromancer, Lightning Strike, Boros Reckoner, Burning-Tree Emissary, and probably a lot more that I'm missing. That's only some of the better cards I found under 3 cmc. I'm so jealous I wasn't playing back then, burn looks like it was so good...

Cool deck. Could I suggest Boros Reckoner instead of maybe the Firstblades (same cmc but more of a deterence). Also I'm interested with your inclusion of Martial Glory. Is that to pump your Skyjecks? I like Furious Resistance as a sucker punch and have had some success with Rally the Righteous.

I have done some research and these are some red/white cards that I have found that would be good in the Prowess deck that I am envisioning: Monastery Mentor, Lotus-Eye Mystics, Jeskai Student, Dragon Bell Monk, Abbot of Keral Keep, Bloodfire Expert, Monastery Swiftspear, Anax and Cymede, Brute Strength, Coordinated Assault, Fit of Rage, Furious Resistance, Hammerhand, Kindled Fury, Looming Spires, Reckless Charge, Rise to the Challenge, and Screaming Fury. Which of these should I incorporate, I have already picked a couple of my own personal choice.

Personally I am a big fan of, and hear me out here, the Dragon Throne of Tarkir. Sure, it's sort of expensive and doesn't do anything right away but put a Lantern Scout that you don't feel like attacking with on it and you suddenly have Overrun on a stick. Bring in a couple of those Furious Resistances to protect it and make that +1/+1 counter count for your entire team. Consider casting Titan's Strength on it. Obviously it's a 1-of card and you only really have it if the aggro plan fails and the game goes long, but still!
