change to the maybe board —July 16, 2017

Ramunap Hydra, Desert of the Indomitable and Desert of the Mindful have been added to the maybe board.

I've been looking for a powerful four-drop for quite some time, and it seems that ramunap might fit the bill. The deserts on the field and in the grave shouldn't be too hard to allign. I guess i'll drop the Simic Growth Chamber and maybe some basics for something between four and six deserts, three of each. The ramunap seems harder to include, and for now, i'm pretty unsure about what to cut for it. Ideas on this topic are heavily appreciated.

Edit: got an idea on what to cut for two Ramunap Hydra: i'll propably move Noose Constrictor and sakua-tribe elder down to three. Opinions?

Hi man! I am like you, I started playing magic back then in Kamigawa, and since then I think I have bought a playset of all the snakes in modern just for collect them hahaha

I want to mention that embalm cannot be played as an instant, so it cannot work with Noose Constrictor as an Advent of the Wurm.

I haven't used yet Noose Constrictor and Honored Hydra but i'm going to try them as soon as possible. Hooded Hydra it's pretty good but I should playtest it a little more.

Sakura-Tribe Scout along with the Simic Growth Chamber and Amulet of Vigor is great, it can give you 4 additional manas in turn 2 with just 2 lands. But well, it is the best case scenario, normally they help, but not so well.

Good luck with it!!! I'm waiting for your next updates!!!

El_Pollo: thanks for the comment :) i really misread embalm. Thanks for the clarification. The combination is still pretty powerful.

I excluded scout some time ago as i found her to hard to get going. I'd basically 3 lands and her in my top eight for a temporary llanowar elf, which is pretty unrealistic considering i only have 22 lands.

Thanks for the interesting read and deck. We have a lunchtime, casual, tribal league at work. For round three, I drew snakes. I've toyed with the build and would greatly appreciate any suggestions you might have. Flavor is the key as we've got rule son place for no more than one copy of any mythic, two of any rate, etc... One very good flavor card is Rhonas since he is a god and a cobra.

I love your dedication to your theme, the best decks are the ones that are close to the creator's heart in my opinion.

You should do one with Green/White mana purely so you can call it "Had it with these Mother Fing Snakes on this Mother Fing Plains"

Kattata91: nice idea, but i don't really see the use of white in a snake deck, except maybe that selesnija version of Opposition. Which by the way is a pretty great idea...

I'll keep it simic for now, but feel free to do the GW thing. I'd love to have a look at your results :)
