First playtest —June 11, 2013

First revision: Added in a couple of Obzedat, Ghost Council but still don't have my counter spells how I'd like them, ideally I'd add a few more Syncopate and maybe swap Cancel for Dissipate. Perhaps moving the Dispel cards to a sideboard, though I'm not sure what direction to take a sideboard at this point.

went 2-1-1 at an FNM this week.

Lost my first round 0-2 to a quick Boros deck, I came close, but just couldn't get my AEtherling out early enough.

2nd round was a draw against a Dimir deck similar (yet inferior) to my own. I won game 1 easily. Game 2 I had in the bag until a massive (24/24 or so) Consuming Aberration arrived. That on it's own wasn't a problem, but on the next turn when he added Gift of Orzhova to the Consuming Aberration and I had no answers I was done. Game 3 saw me slow rolled and we ran out of time!

3rd round and 4th rounds weren't much to write home about, we learn more from our losses than we do victories. I won both rounds 2-0. Round 4 I was playing a friend who had borrowed my own boros deck. It was good to be able to win against my own deck fairly comfortably (although in 1 game I was at 6 life at one point!)
