3.0 Strategy shift —Jan. 2, 2018

Thanks to cole20112 for suggesting to simply use more creatures that replace themselves when sac'd. And to OpenFire_V2 for suggesting Grim Haruspex to add consistent draw while adding another creature to the deck. I will probably play with the numbers a bit to try and fit in 4x Ornithopter for speed as in the last version. Perhaps take down the self replacing creatures to 3 a piece.

Thanks for the upvotes and feedback everyone, you make the MTG community stronger!

Play on!

APPLE01DOJ- interesting. Not very budget. Perhaps in a more competitive deck. I find I'm using all of my mana every turn to get this geared up for a win, so keeping mana open for this may not be viable. I also feel this would only be conditional as it would only be useful to use with Bloodthrone Vampire after a pump, disrupting the killcon of Rite of Consumption, which gains me that life anyhow for less mana. Thanks for the suggestion, I appreciate the effort; but I think I'm gonna have to pass.

Maybe try some Phyrexian Arenas? Your deck seems to slow down mid to late game. Or, as a more budget option, Underworld Connections.

I'd also recommend one or two more Swamps.

@Wasadia: Considerable, I do have an Underworld Connections, but don't really want to invest outside of the $20 mark. For a more casual deck, what are your thoughts on simply adding one more of each Altar's Reap and Costly Plunder? Carnage Altar?

I'm going to disagree about adding land. The deck relies on a balance of constant creature draw and land to play as many of said creatures as possible, I feel like one more land would offset the balance I experience with my meta's speed.

Appreciate the time and +1!
