Valar Dohaeres indeed. I actually chose Spinal Embrace over Slave of Bolas because it is an instant instead of a sorcery. If I wanted another single crearure steal, I would likely choose a cheaper one, especially Mark of Mutiny . Slave of bolas is very flavorful though. Thanks for the input! Unspeakable Symbol seems to fit right in line with the dethrone plan.

Yeah, I have seen that in other people's decklists, but I am not 100% sold on it. I think I need my life to stay close to the highest just so if my playgroup sees I'm about to combo off with something it is harder for them to kill me. I will keep mulling it over. But if your life is the highest, you won't be able to trigger Dethrone consistently. Necropotence and Phyrexian Arena would be my suggestions, the draw power they ridiculous.

I realize, but 3 life for +1/+1 seems like a lot to me compared to 1 life draw a card. I think I will put Phyrexian Arena in place of Mind Unbound and Necropotence in the maybeboard. Thanks!

To abuse Dethrone, Infect creatures are a must, they get +1/+1 for attacking the dude with highest life, but don't lower his life total, but instead gives him poison counters.

Greed helped me win at least 3 games the other day.

I want to abuse her other ability much more than I want to abuse dethrone. Dethrone is cool, but it is just a way for me to make my creatures die more without losing them. And I had an infect deck once and got hated off the table too many times. But I will admit, that is pretty ruthless. Thanks for your input

I've been playing with it a lot lately and abusing her bringing creature with +1/+1 is working a lot better. Only trick is to keep her alive.

Yeah, that is totally true, and thats why I added in stuff to give her hexproof.

Throw in Beacon of Tomorrows . If you have Rune-Scarred and Deadeye, Beacon provides an infinite turn loop.

I'm not sure I like it. It doesn't do enough to justify its cost for me. And it has no cohesion with the rest of the deck really

True enough, but when you have an extra turn to squeeze in something fun, or better yet, have it be your turn forever, deck cohesion is out the window. At that point as your opponents wait for you to win.

Thanks for pointing me to this deck, there's a lot of useful information here for my own Marchesa EDH. If anything I would suggest Molten Primordial . That whole cycle is incredibly powerful and this deck has a way to really abuse them.
